Reiki can also be given to pets either hands on or long distance.

Animals who love to be petted will probably love hands-on Reiki. Pets which can't be handled can receive distant Reiki treatments.

Other animals, such as birds, can benefit from distant Reiki. You can use the remote healing method to send Reiki to animals in the wild or groups of domesticated animals like sheep and cows.

Pets can be attuned to Reiki. The attunement enhances the vibrational frequency of their energy field. An animal may naturally radiate Reiki after having been attuned or simply give it to others in need.
